Thrive is the leading charity in the UK using gardening to bring about positive changes in the lives of people living with disabilities or ill health, or who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable and use the historic, former TV Gardens in Kings Heath Park to deliver our programmes.
These gardens are historic and well-loved locally, however sadly no longer open to the public. But we are delighted to offer guided tours on Fridays at 11am and 1pm by prior appointment - you can call Thrive's Birmingham office on 0121 293 4531 to book you place.
We make no charge for these tours, although donations are welcome. The tour lasts for approximately 20 minutes and are led by our volunteers. During the tour, you will hear about the history of these wonderful gardens and have an opportunity to purchase plants and veg boxes, all of which have been grown by our client gardeners and volunteers.
