I bought 3 small forsythia trees which were doing fine but now a few months on they are all browning on the tips - i have been watering them well i thought...Any ideas what could the problem be? Thanks

This is a weak forsythia not related to our hardy varieties, you have purchased young plants and we have had a late frost. All is not lost as they take cutting back hard and just remove the dead leaves.
Do not over water and keep your fingers crossed they want to live as much as we do, good luck

Hi Suzi, I agree with Jim that it looks like frost damage: there's been a lot of it this year! Just nip off each of the damaged leaves - they're not doing much good for the plant, and they look horrible - and with luck they will recover.
