Anyone know a silver foliaged ground-trailing pink flowered convolvulus from Greece?

My mother had a silver foliaged convolvulus she found in Greece. It doesnt fit any that I know: has pale permanently pink flowers, is not a bush but a low lying twining grass verge trailer. It is more like althaioides than anything but I wodnered if there are sub species? other possibilities? Best wishes, Ruth

Could be Convolvulus elegantissimus, (synonym, Convolvulus althaeoides subsp. tenuissimus). Similar to C. althaeoides, but with silvery leaves and paler pink flowers.
