Claire, you've presumably asked the question elsewhere, did you get any replies? Judging by the lack of response here, we don't have anyone with relevant experience who can help you...

As a completely non-succulent gardener, I would hesitate to grow any plants other than tender ones indoors, but I'm guessing that succulents are very hard to kill!

Most of them seem to live in very hot, arid areas where they would expect to get a long, very bright day, so being indoors in a gloomy corner (excuse me saying so) might not be their ideal conditions. Maybe in glass shelves across the window?

Hello, thank you for your reply :)

I did ask elsewhere and the response was a resounding no. The are more appropriate plants for this location but succulents require more direct light.

Hmm, that's pretty much what I had thought. Oh well, you could always create a sort of minature garden, using sacrificial succulents or those air-plants - Tillandsia, I think - that don't seem to either live or die. Then after a couple of years, you could bin them, and start again. Sort of like living ornaments....
