If you are looking to spend an enjoyable afternoon in a pretty Thames-side village then come and join us in North Stoke on Sunday 17th June 2018. The village is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. 12 residents have kindly offered to open their gardens including some new editions. All the gardens are close together - three are particularly large gardens with river and lake frontages and others are small and interesting with individual delights to discover. Previous years visitor's comments include - "Fairy-tale beauty, stunning gardens, beautiful English gardens, - a splendid afternoon with a superb cream tea!"
There will be an opportunity to meet the garden owners, to ask questions about plants, wildlife and the village, before relaxing with Afternoon Tea or a Strawberry Cream Tea in the Village Hall. There will be home-made cakes and plant sales in conjunction with a local Nursery.
The starting point will be the Village Hall (OX10 6BL) where tickets can be purchased £5 per adult (children free) - sorry no dogs! Group bookings can be arranged in advance contact Judith Soames 01491 836058
