On the edge of the Meon Valley at the centre of the Winchester/Portsmouth/Southampton triangle, our delightful village will once again open many of its gardens to visitors. The gardens vary from small intimate village gardens to large country house gardens. They have emerged from the snow and ice, survived an April hailstorm and now they are just wonderful and waiting to welcome you. Amongst our old favourites we have one or two that have not opened recently and all have, of course, changed as the years have passed. Once again The Meon Valley Lions have loaned their minibus so we can offer free transport between the gardens. However, many of the gardens are within easy walking distance of the village centre. All could be visited with a round trip of 3.5 miles starting and ending at The Paterson Centre, where you will find our refreshment team selling teas and coffees as well as delicious homemade cakes. There will be plants for sale and a plant creche so there is no need to tote your purchases around - just hand them to the minibus driver and collect them when you go home.
