Well, I've finally got my act together to list my plants and spend a little time on write-ups. I don't grow commercially - hats off to those who do, as it's such hard work and so much to accomplish in short time-scales. My plants are the result of splitting and dividing those I have, seeds gathered from favourites and a series of curiosities which I keep or would like to keep as "pets". I do attempt natural dyeing from locally gathered materials and try to use as much material as I need gathered from the garden or our hedgerows. "Sustainability" is the name of the game - organic, peat free compost (a mix of commercial and my own) and recycled pots - they're not all the same, but sadly, they are all plastic. I am kept busy with the garden and producing extras as well as chickens and bees and a demanding lurcher - I am happy to swop for something I haven't got and I can take cuttings or seeds if there is a request. Life is short - enjoy what you have while you can.
