I have a few of these plants, but I don't know what they are called, does any one know the name? Thanks

The foliage looks like Portulaca - I've never seen one as old and woody as this, as round here they are usualy sold as annual summer bedding.

So I could well be wrong!

Hi Rachel thanks for your comment, I don't think they are Portulacas as the leaves are a lot smaller, but I don't know thanks

Well, it's very hard to ID a plant from a photo! Hopefully someone else will come up with a good suggestion soon.

I've attached a photo of some annual Portulaca seedlings, with secateurs for scale: I would have said their leaves were the same size as those in your photo, but it's hard to tell!

It looks like a Hebe that hasn’t been cut back. Mine looked like that before I pruned it back

Thanks Karen,I don't think it is a Hebe, as my plant has tiny leaves, but thanks very much

You’re welcome. It’s a lovely plant that always wants to be a bonsai tree when it grows up!
