    Nice ... and very Spring like! Do they normally flower in Autumn ... or have they got confused? Most plants are advanced rather than behind this year.

    Weigela Bristol Snowflake is usually in flower late spring as indeed was this particular specimen.
    We also had a second showing of flowers on Middendorfiana which is similar but with yellow flowers, however this was not as prolific.
    The only assistance with the second showing was potting up in fresh compost.
    Perhaps the change of weather in august also assisted.
