    YOU COULD PLANT THE SEEDS OUTSIDE NOW, BUT BE READY FOR THE SLUGS AND SNAILS. OTHERWISE GROW IN POTS THEN PLANT OUT.

    Hi Shelley - how about this. Hablitzia tamnoides, a shade-loving, perennial climbing spinach from the Caucasus. Bit rare here, but gaining recognition. I believe The Backyard Larder has it. She listed on her page last year. Tell her she should list it again on GreenPlantSwap!

    Wow that's sounds great. I sometimes grow perpetual spinach. Has only just vanished from my arden after several years of neglect. My daughter uses it for her rabbits. Good tip. I'll have a look

    I thought I might try some beans and see what happens. I also read The Backyard larder and found that inspirational.. Loved the planting tips and recipes.......so climbing spinach and beans it is.
