Over 300 plants for sale! From Acers to Yucca (alas, nothing beginning with Z unless you count Miscanthus 'Zebrinus'), a chance to get a real bargain. All my plants are grown by myself, in my cold east-facing front yard, so everything is fully hardy and ready for planting in your garden or pots.

I have everything in size from a large Monkey Puzzle tree to some 3" high Tree Peony seedlings: : I have a dozen strong Auriculas, just leafing up and looking lush: I have red-leaved Hazel, Coral Bark Acer and red-flowered Horse Chestnut: I also have rarely seen for sale plants such as Pachyphragma - just a few left! - and Asarum europaeum, Soapwort and Fritillery for meadows, along with Widow Iris, Dragon Lily, and a ton of other stuff.

As well as perennials, bulbs (lots of tulips!) and trees, I will have a selection of herb labels for sale, and my interesting Pot Gardens.

Prices range from £100 for the Monkey Puzzle (strictly collection only, ha! ha!) to the £1 per plant Bargain Bench.

There is even the Box Of Shame, containing plants which are too terrible to be sold, so I'm giving those ones away free: help yourselves to those ones, please!

I'll be selling plants between 9am and 12 mid-day: please bring cash (receipts will be given) as I can't accept cheques on the day.

No refreshments: no dogs and no children please: it's a small garden and there isn't room for boisterousness!

The postcode will mislead your satnav, so do please email me at rachel(at) for directions.

Hi Rachel, great to see you are having a plant sale, I wish I could come and have a look but you are a bit too far away! I am sure you have lots of plants that would be happy in my garden. Funny you have a postcode that isn’t recognised correctly by satnavs – so do I too!! Makes life difficult with deliveries around here!

Hope everything goes well on your day, and that the weather is nice!

Thanks, Helene - satnav is a great invention, but doesn't really work for me: there are three turnings all called by the same name in this estate, and the numbers don't run sequentially, which causes mass confusion! I will probably go round the estate early next Sat, pinning up arrow signs!
