The village of Gilmorton is located 12 miles south of Leicester, not far from the Warwickshire border and within ten minutes drive of Junction 20 of the M1 making it really easy to get to.

A variety of beautiful gardens of varying sizes include one that was formerly a farmyard but now hosts a selection of specimen trees and shrubs around a natural pool. Views out over open countryside including the village's 11th century motte and bailey.

Entry £4 per adult (children free) includes programme giving details of each garden and a map to find your way around. The majority of gardens are accessible by wheelchair, although access to some may be tricky due to narrow pathways.

Open Gardens are indicated by a sunflower sign at each of the gardens.

Plants and watercolour paintings by local artists on sale.

Refreshments available from 12noon - 5pm on both days at the Village Hall. Sandwiches, homemade cakes and more.
