Anemanthele lessoniana / Stipa arundinacea

Since Anemanthele lessoniana is a newer non-botanical name for Stipa arundinacea shouldn't there just be one plant listing in GPS? It's listed under both names with no cross-reference.

Hi Nick. Thanks for this observation. We have cross-referenced the two plant records for now. Botanical names that move from one genus to another are a huge headache for the Plant Finder. It's fine once one has firmly replaced the other - we can drop the first plant record - but when both are actively used, it can be best to keep the two running (with the cross reference).

Would, for example, the sellers on the right (logged in view) have found the Anemanthele plant record to list against? We suspect not.
