Aquilegia with dark brown patches ?

What could be causing this ? Possibly slugs having a chomp too? It was repotted recently but no improvement.

    Hi Suzi,

    Don't worry about it - Aquilegia always do this. Once they have flowered, the leaves which accompanied the flowering stem get really tatty and horrible looking, which is why I suggest being so ruthless when cutting them back - you might like to check this article from my blog, How To Cut Back Aquilegia .
