Today, on clearing part of the garden to redevelop it I noticed a little plant I thought had long gone. it was wryneckia, a small chinese plant allied to lily of the valley and used to be included as part of Sansaveria. By no means like Mother-in-law's tongue in any way, it has proven to be tougher, riding out years under old greenhouse frames and branches of the hedge that I thinned radically in the summer not having a clue what was at my feet, so what a surprise. It doesn't look much more then a broad leaved grass really, but for me a real find and a botanical curiosity. Nice one!
