I've got hold of some kale cuttings now and they are just starting to show new growth.

Hi Charlie - I am also giving them a try and just posted this piece about perennial vegetables: Darwin and the vegetable patch. Will be interested to hear how you get on.

Hello Charlie and Jeremy. Would either of you be interested in swapping (or selling) a couple of perennial kale cuttings? I would love to try some. I have a few oca tubers ready to sprout and/or half packets of celery 'Solid Pink' sow by Aug2018 and Celery 'Peppermint Stick' organically grown seed Sow by Aug2018. Happy to post as a swap if of any interest?

When my cuttings are proper plants and I am able to take cuttings from them I will and will post on here! Not managed to grow celery successfully yet but am trying again. Not actually liking celery to eat (I'd use some in cooking) I think it is at the bottom of my list when looking after plants I'm growing :( Your seeds sound more interesting than the run-of-the-mill varieties offered :)

Hello Charlie - many thanks, that would be lovely. If you aren't keen on celery to eat then not a great swap I can see. Yes they are unusual varieties. I find Cutting Celery easy to grow and have had some in the greenhouse all winter. It just grows as a cut and come again leafy crop and adds a celery taste to salads or in cooking.
