Come and visit 'Gold' award winning Draycott in Derbyshire (DE72 3PS) this June as it holds its annual Open Gardens over the weekend of 24th and 25th June.
As well as over 20 gardens, there are loads of village community planting projects to admire, including a new community allotment, street planting, and of course our enormous planted wheelbarrow. This year we are linking up with a flower festival at our local church at Church Wilne which just happens to be across the road from our local nature reserve, another crown jewel in our horticultural treasure chest.
As well as gardens, there will be plant sales, craft and gift stalls and of course you'll find a selection of refreshment offerings in the village tea rooms and public houses.
£2 per adult and the entrance fee allows access to ALL the gardens on both days.
