Greenwood cuttings are similar to softwood cuttings, but are taken from the tips of leafy stems, usually from late spring to mid-summer. The base of the stem is firmer, but much of the stem is still soft and they need a protected environment.
Prepare greenwood cuttings as you would softwood cuttings, but make them longer,
generally 7.5-12.5cm (3-5in) long.
